1. Calendar Sync and Notifications

Your Fullstride profile has one calendar across the products you can access. It can include your personal events, upcoming Horse care and birthdays, and Events bookings. Updating your profile timezone or calendar in one Fullstride app updates the same profile and calendar used by the other apps.

1.1 Choose your timezone first

  1. Sign in and open My Profile or Account.
  2. Find Timezone and choose the place whose local time you want to use.
  3. Save the change before creating or editing events.

The timezone controls how Fullstride displays times and keeps recurring events at the intended local time when daylight saving changes.

1.2 Add Fullstride to another calendar

  1. Open the Calendar sync section in your profile or calendar screen.
  2. For Apple Calendar or Outlook Classic, choose For Apple and Outlook Classic and follow the prompt from your calendar app.
  3. For Google Calendar or new Outlook, choose Google and Outlook (New) to copy your private subscription link.
  4. In your calendar provider, add a calendar from URL or subscribe from web, then paste the copied link.

This is a subscription, not a one-time import. Fullstride keeps one feed for your profile, so entries from the Fullstride products you use can appear together. Calendar providers choose how often they refresh subscriptions; changes may not appear immediately even when Fullstride has saved them.

Anyone who has the link may be able to read the calendar feed. Treat it like a password:

  • do not post it in messages, screenshots or public documents;
  • do not share it with another person; and
  • reset it if you think someone else has obtained it.

To reset it, open Advanced in Calendar sync, choose Reset link, and confirm. The old link stops working across every Fullstride app. Remove the old subscription from Google, Apple or Outlook, then add the new link.

1.4 Turn on reminder notifications

Calendar notifications are optional and are enabled separately on each device.

  1. Open Calendar notifications while using the device that should receive reminders.
  2. Choose Enable on this device.
  3. When your browser asks, choose Allow.

Fullstride does not ask for notification permission merely because you created a reminder. On an iPhone or iPad, Web Push may require the Fullstride app to be added to the Home Screen first. Browser and operating-system notification settings can still silence an enabled subscription.

To stop reminders on the current device, choose Disable on this device. Disabling one device does not disable another device you previously enabled.

1.5 What appears in the calendar

  • Personal events and reminders that you create in Fullstride.
  • Upcoming Horse care and feed-order reminders.
  • Horse birthdays.
  • Events bookings linked to your profile.

Completed Horse history does not appear in the Person Calendar. It remains in the relevant horse's timeline. Product-owned entries open in the product that owns them; edit the care item in Horse or the booking in Events rather than editing a copied calendar record.

1.6 Troubleshooting

1.6.1 A change has not reached Google, Apple or Outlook

Open Fullstride first and confirm the entry has changed there. Subscription refresh timing is controlled by the external calendar provider and can take time. Do not repeatedly reset the link; that invalidates the existing subscription rather than forcing a refresh.

1.6.2 The subscription stopped updating

If you reset the link, remove the old subscribed calendar and add the new URL. Also confirm that your Fullstride account is active and that the external calendar still has network access.

1.6.3 Notifications do not arrive

Confirm notifications are allowed for the Fullstride site or installed app in your browser and device settings. Then return to Calendar notifications, disable the current device and enable it again. Notifications require an internet connection and an upcoming entry with a reminder.

1.6.4 An item is missing

Confirm you are signed in to the same Fullstride profile in each app and that you have access to the relevant product. An Events booking must be linked to your Person profile, and Horse shows only future calendar items here, not its completed history.
